Leslie Mays is a certified clinical nurse specialist and a fifth-generation Nevadan, and we think you’ll be as impressed by her credentials as we are. Here’s why we’re so thrilled to have her on staff, and what it means for our patients.

Experience & Credentials

Leslie is a graduate of the University of Nevada, where she received a bachelor’s of science in nursing. She worked in the critical care arena, focusing on local trauma and medical intensive care units. In 2009, she was commissioned into the United States Air Force and served as a critical care transport nurse until 2016 while also pursuing her master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in family practice medicine.

What this Means for our Patients

Leslie has been working as a nurse practitioner since 2015, and is currently completing her certification as a functional medicine specialist. And now, she’s joining Dr. McSweeney’s practice, which expands our scope of services.
